Thank you in advance and we look forward to celebrating together!

With love,

Marta & Sam

Our history of love

Our story begins in December 2019, in a high-end club in the city of Edinburgh. Our beginning was no different to that of a Shakespearean love story: one man’s exceptional dancing and one woman’s terrible judgment.
As a budding romance bloomed, the world had other ideas, notably Covid. Not to let a global pandemic get in the way of true love, we endured multiple lockdowns together in Edinburgh.
In May 2021, Marta made the decision to move south of the border. For those of you who know her well, you’ll appreciate this was no mean feat given she complains about England on a weekly, if not daily, basis.  We moved into our flat in the wonderful city of York, where we still live, albeit with Sam spending the week on the Isle of Dreams (Angelsey).

Guest Guide

Accommodation

The wedding venue itself is about 20 minutes drive from city center of Warsaw. Any hotel or airbnb within Warsaw will be suitable however if possible we would advise you to try and stay in Moxy Hotel Praga where there is a range or restaurants and bars within the complex www.moxywarsawpraga.pl

Transport

There will be a coach from outside Moxy Hotel in Praga to the venue and back again. Please ask us for timings closer to the date. For those staying in other locations or wanting a bit more flexibility Uber is the best way to get around the city.

Dress code

Gentlemen please wear lounge suit or jacket and tie – whichever you feel most comfortable in. Ladies we would kindly request that you refrain from wearing white and fuschia/hot pink as these are the bridal party colours.

Kids

We decided to organize an event only for adults, we do not want to expose the little ones to noise and stress, we hope that despite this you will be with us that day.

Gifts

Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift to help us start our new life together.

Let us know you’ll be with us!

Your presence is extremely important to us and we would like to share this special moment with you. Please confirm your presence and menu preferences so that we can prepare a place for you and celebrate this special day together.
